Don’t you just loooove Jen Corace’s drawings she does for Craftland?! (see new flyer on left) Jen is one of the masterminds behind Craftland, a 9-yrs in the running craft show that runs for the month of December, hand picking crafts from all over the nation and setting up shop for the holiday season.
Earlier this year, Craftland set up a permanent store at their Downcity Providence location that offers gallery shows, craft classes as well as a small shop. While they are now operating as a full-year shindig, they are still clearing out the space for the month of December and filling it with all new goodies for that month-long winter magic I call Craftland.
I was lucky this year to have a few pieces in the show. You can find my Providence longitude/latitude pins, bingo ball bracelets and hammered copper earrings. And let me just say, it is an honor to be a part of such an amazing tradition. I’m proud to call myself a Craftland artist.
